Zayd Memon maintains an immigration practice specializing in litigation at the Federal Court and the IRB. Zayd has successfully represented his clients before all levels of the Immigration and Refugee Board and the Federal Court of Canada. Zayd also has experience with business immigration and LMIA applications.

Zayd received his J.D. from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, where he served as the President of the Muslim Law Student Association; volunteered at the immigration and refugee legal clinic; won the Amatul Rahman Malik Social Justice Award; and interned with the Department of Justice’s Tax Litigation team.   

Prior to law school, Zayd obtained his Honours Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics (First Class Standing) and a Certificate in French at York University, Glendon College. Zayd completed an exchange semester at Université Jean Moulin Lyon III in France during his time at York University. Zayd speaks English, Hindi, French, and Urdu. 

In his spare time, Zayd enjoys playing cricket, hockey, and spending time with his family.
