Ms. Beatrix Olah was born and raised in Budapest in Roma family of professional musicians. She completed her education with a double major in trade & management. She left Hungary and immigrated to Canada in 1999.
In Canada, Beatrix commenced her education in Refugee Law by working through her own Refugee claim. In 2001 she began to work professionally in the field at the Newcomer’s Centre in Hamilton. Moved to Toronto in 2004 and she joined the Roma Community Centre to help Roma families for over 6 years.
She continued freelance interpretation at the CBSA, IRCC, hospitals, Ontario Social Service Offices, Jails, and Toronto Police. She worked as a legal assistant and interpreter for various refugee law firms.
She joined Lewis and Associates in 2017 bringing her legal and interpreting skills to her support work in Immigration and Refugee matters.
