Biography

Deirdre Pullin started her legal studies at Wilfrid Laurer University in the Law & Society program. She graduated in 2018 with high distinction, taking home the Alumni Gold Medal for achieving the highest GPA in the program of over 150 students. After taking some time off to raise her two children, she went on to study at Osgoode Hall Law School, graduating in 2024.

Deirdre joined the firm as an articling student immediately upon graduating from law school and was called to the bar in October 2025. She is experienced in refugee law, including deferrals and stays of removal, appellate work at the Refugee Appeal Division (RAD), and Judicial Reviews at the Federal Court. She has also expanded her practice into immigration law, including work permits, visa applications, various permanent residence applications, and more.

Deirdre has always had a passion for social justice and helping those in need, which made refugee law a perfect fit. She enjoys meeting with clients from all around the world, hearing the stories, and guiding them through the refugee claim process with compassion, knowledge, and encouragement. She is always looking to gain more knowledge and experience to improve her practice and expertise.

Aside from her career at Lewis & Associates LLP, family is the most important thing to Deirdre. In her free time taking her young children to explore nature and Toronto’s many museums and attractions, travelling around to visit relatives in different cities in Ontario, trying new foods, and snowboarding.
