Taiylor Wiebes joined the firm in June 2023 as a summer student. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Toronto and earned her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University.
During law school, Taiylor developed a particular interest in immigration and refugee law. Her commitment to access to justice shaped much of her academic and extracurricular involvement. She worked with Pro Bono Students Canada and contributed to her law school’s community legal clinic, where she assisted low-income individuals in navigating the legal system and advocated for increased access to justice in underserved communities. Taiylor is valued for her empathy, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving approach.
Outside of her legal work, Taiylor enjoys skiing in the winter, golfing in the summer, and reading year-round, especially nonfiction and historical fiction. She brings curiosity, dedication, and a strong sense of purpose to her work and looks forward to continuing to grow her practice in public interest law.
