Chiu Chung joined the firm in 2023, after working with a small immigration firm in Toronto. Chiu was born in Canada soon after his parents immigrated here from Hong Kong. He was called to the Law Society of Ontario and Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society and Hong Kong Law Society.
Chiu is an international practicing lawyer with over 15 years’ experience representing clients in various legal matters. Practicing law in Hong Kong for over 15 years has provided him an invaluable experience as to what it takes to be a successful lawyer. However, it was clear to him that he was truly a Canadian in terms of culture and ethical values.
Chiu has chosen the difficult road to return to qualify in Canada as a lawyer and to focus on assisting other immigrants to this beautiful country. He has experience in refugee claims, humanitarian and compassionate claims, sponsorship applications, as well as various other immigration matters.
He is looking forward to continuing his journey in aiding those who need legal assistance in immigration law matters and welcoming new immigrants to this great country.
