David Tobis joined Lewis and Associates LLP as an articling student in September 2022, before continuing with the firm as a lawyer.
David’s practice focuses on Refugee Law and has successfully represented clients at the Immigration and Refugee Board. David’s success extends to his Appellate work both at the Refugee Appeal Division (RAD), and the Federal Court.
Before joining the firm, David obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario, where he was involved with Pro Bono Students of Canada and participated in various law school competitions including negotiations and moots. Before law school, David earned his Bachelor of Commerce from York University.
When not working, David can be found spending time with friends and family and cheering on the Buffalo Bills.
