Deirdre Pullin started her legal studies at Wilfrid Laurer University in the Law & Society program. She graduated in 2018 with high distinction, taking home the Alumni Gold Medal for achieving the highest GPA in the program of over 150 students. After taking some time off to raise her two children, she went on to study at Osgoode Hall Law School, graduating in 2020.
Deirdre joined the firm as an articling student immediately upon graduating from law school, and has focused her career on refugee law. She has always had a passion for social justice and helping those in need, which made refugee law a perfect fit. She enjoys meeting with clients from all around the world, hearing the stories, and guiding them through the refugee claim process with compassion, knowledge, and encouragement.
Deirdre is looking forward to a career with Lewis & Associates LLP in refugee law, with aspirations to expand into immigration law. She aims to specialize in litigation at the Refugee Protection Division (RPD) and appellate work at the Refugee Appeal Division (RAD) and the Federal Court.
Aside from her career at Lewis & Associates LLP, family is the most important thing to Deirdre. In her free time, she enjoys taking her young children to explore nature and Toronto’s many museums and attractions, and travelling around to visit relatives in different cities in Ontario.
