Ian Sonshine is a senior immigration and refugee lawyer with Lewis & Associates LLP, with a diverse background representing clients in all aspects of the immigration process.
Ian’s current practice focuses on immigration litigation, the intersection of criminal and immigration law, and inadmissibility and enforcement matters. He regularly represents clients before all levels of the Immigration and Refugee Board and appears frequently before the Federal Court of Canada, including on urgent Stay Motions.
Ian holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming and a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Toronto. He speaks French and English.
