Nabilah Nsegumire came to Lewis & Associates LLP as a newcomer to Canada in 2022. She has bachelor’s degree in law from Uganda, where she focused on human rights and gender rights during her study. She worked with Topowa, a charity organization that assisted teens and people in marginalized societies, with help in all aspects of living.
While completing her internship, she was appointed as Legal Assistant at MSM advocates Kampala.
During her first year in Canada, she joined the Fred Victor Organization where she was worked as a social service worker which included being a community engagement worker and respite worker.
She volunteered at African Center for Refugees, an organization that Advocates for LGBTQ rights for all African Newcomers.
Nabilah is passionate about working with newcomers and advocating for equal rights for everyone.
During her free time, she loves watching movies, karaoke, and taking long walks.
