Navpal (Nav) Singh Hothi started his work placement in January 2024 as an Articling Student after completing the Law Practice Program (LPP) at Toronto Metropolitan University. He recently obtained his Master of Laws (LLM) in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School.
Nav graduated with an LLB degree from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom after completing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Guelph in Canada. Prior to joining the firm, Nav worked as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), gaining experience in various areas of immigration law. As an RCIC, Nav successfully handled family class sponsorship appeals, as well as applications for both temporary and permanent residency. In addition to his achievements in the legal field, Nav is also an Ontario Real Estate Broker.
Nav is looking forward to the opportunity to do litigation and appellate work at the Refugee Appeal Division (RAD), Immigration Appeal Division (IAD), and the Federal Court at Lewis & Associates LLP.
Nav is fluent in English and Punjabi. In his free time, Nav enjoys listening to music, traveling, running, and hanging out with friends and family.
