Navpal (Nav) Hothi is a licensed lawyer in Ontario, called to the bar in October 2024. Nav began his legal journey at Lewis & Associates LLP in January 2024 as an Articling Student after completing the Law Practice Program (LPP) at Toronto Metropolitan University. He also holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from Osgoode Hall Law School.
Nav earned his LLB degree from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom, building on a strong foundation in Computer Science from the University of Guelph in Canada. Before becoming a lawyer, Nav was a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), where he developed significant experience handling family class sponsorship appeals, as well as temporary and permanent residency applications. In addition to his legal expertise, Nav is an Ontario Real Estate Broker.
As a lawyer, Nav focuses on litigation and complex immigration cases, with a strong interest in representing clients at the Refugee Appeal Division (RAD), Immigration Appeal Division (IAD), and the Federal Court.
Nav is fluent in English and Punjabi. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, running, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.
