Peter Neill joined Lewis & Associates LLP in August 2017 bringing with him a wealth of knowledge in Immigration and Refugee work.
Born in Scotland, he did his MA in History at Glasgow University and graduated in 2006. He carried on doing his LLB at Glasgow University graduating with Distinction in 2011.
Peter has a keen interest in sports and has participated at a high level, in a number of sports, including, American Football, Rugby, Soccer, wrestling, and athletics.
Prior to joining Lewis and Associates LLP, Peter had his own law practice where he specialized in Immigration and Refugee work. He also has expertise in Spousal and Family Sponsorships and articled at a busy litigation office.
Peter is a gifted advocate who passionately represents Refugees at the Immigration and Refugee Board on a regular basis. He is also experienced in appeal work at the Refugee Appeal Division of the Immigration Refugee Board and at the Federal Court. Peter’s expertise extends to Pre-Removal Risk Assessments and Applications for Permanent Residence on Humanitarian and Compassionate Grounds.
Peter has worked and been successful for Refugee clients from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and South and Central America.
