Shervin Ghiami

Shervin Ghiami earned a Bachelor’s Degree with Joint Honours in Political Science and History from the University of Ottawa in 2018 and earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa in 2021. 

During his time in Ottawa, Shervin served as the President of the Quizbowl Association and was part of the team that qualified for the 2015 Academic Competition Federation international competition. In law school, he served as Co-Chair of the Employment and Labour Law Society. He was called to the bar in March 2022 and joined Lewis & Associates LLP in August 2022.

Prior to commencing his career in law, Shervin worked for multiple departments of the Government of Canada, including Immigration, Citizenship and Refugees Canada (IRCC) and the Canada Border Services Agency.

Shervin has successfully represented his clients before all levels of the Immigration and Refugee Board, the Federal Court of Canada, and in various applications to IRCC. Shervin is trilingual and speaks English, French, and Farsi. 

Outside of the office, Shervin loves to watch sports, collect vinyl records, and play video games.
