Tyler Koshowski joined Lewis & Associates LLP in the spring of 2023. Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Tyler was called to the Manitoba bar in June of 2022. After his call to the bar, he moved to Toronto and was called to the Ontario bar in October of 2022.
Tyler’s practice focuses primarily on judicial review applications in the Federal Court of Canada, as well as immigration applications, challenging removal orders, and stay motions.
He has sought judicial review on behalf of clients who have been refused study permits, work permits, permanent residence applications, and more.
He also has considerable expertise filing mandamus applications in the Federal Court for individuals whose immigration applications are unreasonably delayed.
Tyler also uses his business and immigration knowledge to help both employers and individuals with their business immigration needs.
He obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in 2016, and earned his Juris Doctorate in 2021, both at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, MB.
Outside the office, Tyler is a lifelong athlete. He has competed at high levels in both ice hockey and golf.
In addition to English, Tyler is fluent in French.
