Winta T-Michael joined Lewis & Associates in September 2023 as an associate lawyer. Winta primarily assists clients seeking refugee protection in Canada.
Winta holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Windsor and from the University of Detroit Mercy. During law school, she honed her passion for immigration law while working with the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center as a summer student and by serving as a student clinician at the University of Detroit Mercy’s Immigration Clinic.
Winta’s commitment to social justice, coupled with her legal acumen, makes her a valuable asset to the Lewis Legal team. She is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective legal representation to individuals and families navigating complex immigration and refugee processes.
