Josh Eisen holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toronto, where his studies focused on criminal law, aboriginal law, and international law. Josh joined Lewis & Associates LLP in October 2022 after articling with the Ontario government.

Prior to law school, he worked as a journalist and documentary filmmaker for a variety of domestic and international news outlets including the CBC and New Internationalist magazine. He holds an MA in medical anthropology from McGill University and has spent time working and studying in China, East Africa, and Latin America.

Josh offers legal services in both English and Spanish (he is also working on his Kiswahili!). Josh focuses on refugee law. He strives to make his clients feel at home in Canada and to help them effectively navigate the country’s sometimes-daunting legal system.

In his spare time, Josh likes to travel, read about the state of the world, and play bass guitar.
